As a Core Banking Integration Developer, you’ll be developing software and APIs that integrate with our core banking system, while collaborating with our front-end and integrations developers.

Requirements

• At least 3-5+ years experience in developing APIs
• Familiarity with integration and modernization patterns
• Knowledge of RESTful API design patterns
• Expertise in .NET Core
• Familiarity with MS SQL
• Experience with cloud based development, particularly on the Azure platform
• A post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced knowledge of database and data warehouse design

Nice To Haves

• A basic understanding of open source ELT/ETL and workflow automation tools (ex: dbt, Airflow, Prefect, Airbyte) would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs in ASP.net Core that integrate with our core banking system
• Work with stakeholders, product owners and other developers to understand and implement project requirements
• Write thorough, well-designed, well-documented and tested code
• Implement security controls, monitoring, logging and validation
• Manage projects and develop data solutions that unlock key insights about our business
• Build and enhance our data warehouse
• Provide guidance and expertise to other developers so they can translate business requirements into software that delivers value for our members
