About The Position

Meta is looking for a Copywriter to join our in-house creative team, crafting compelling copy across Meta's family of apps and hardware products — including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Meta Quest, and Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. In this role, you will develop copy that brings product stories to life, shapes brand voice, and connects billions of people to the experiences and technology that matter most to them. You will work across a range of formats and channels, from social and digital campaigns to product marketing and brand storytelling, ensuring every word reflects the distinct voice and purpose of each platform.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in copywriting, creative writing, or a related creative discipline
Experience problem solving in fast paced environments and navigating ambiguity
A passion and interest in product storytelling and project strategy
Strong communication skills
Knowledge and use of various AI tool capabilities and limitations in the context of copywriting and creative ideation, demonstrated through professional or self-directed experience
Experience actively seeking out new AI knowledge and skills, understanding of how AI is reshaping creative work and experiments with emerging AI technologies, and applies it to active creative workflows
Demonstrated judgment in using AI in creative work, knowing when to use it, when to rely on traditional tools, and how to edit/refine AI-assisted work to reach a high-quality final output
Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

Nice To Haves

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
Familiarity with writing for short-form video and motion-led formats such as Reels, Stories, or connected TV
Experience contributing to or maintaining brand voice and tone guidelines at scale
Experience using AI-assisted writing tools to accelerate ideation, explore creative directions, or optimize copy workflows
Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
Experience developing copy for product launches, including app features or consumer hardware

Responsibilities

Write and concept ideas for a variety of mediums, including mobile, social, product, film, interactive, content, activations, OOH, print, events, experiential, etc
Apply knowledge of writing and conceptual ideation to tell stories on behalf of a brand and within a product
Present ideas in a clear and focused way that builds consensus and alignment with stakeholders across teams
Work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment, partnering with producers, art directors, marketers and program management to reach campaign goals
Support innovation within formats to create breakthrough and memorable creative work
Deliver mixed creative assets including short-form copy, long-form scripts, social content and campaign narratives
