About The Position

Jerry is hiring a Reddit Copywriter to create high-value, educational, human text posts that make complex financial and automotive topics clear and engaging. The role focuses on Reddit-native storytelling: understanding subreddit cultures, writing compelling titles, translating technical jargon into useful prose, and producing content that earns community trust rather than relying on conventional promotional copy. The Copywriter will create content for relevant subreddits and Jerry’s own communities, write conversational replies to community comments and inquiries, experiment with hooks, formats, and posting times, and optimize Reddit content for search engines and AI citations. The role collaborates with Content, SEO, and Product teams to adapt company insights into accurate, Reddit-first copy.

Requirements

Active Reddit user with a portfolio demonstrating strong writing for the platform.
Understanding of Reddit formatting, subreddit subcultures, and the qualities that make threads successful.
At least 3 years of copywriting experience.
Proven experience writing both short- and long-form copy.
Ability to explain complex or frustrating topics—such as insurance policies, rate increases, and vehicle maintenance—in clear, useful, compelling language.
Ability to respond constructively to internal feedback and public community reactions and use them to improve writing.

Nice To Haves

Copywriting experience in fintech, insurtech, automotive, or consumer technology.

Responsibilities

Create helpful and entertaining content for relevant subreddits and Jerry’s own subreddits.
Write short- and long-form copy in an authentic Reddit voice, using suitable tone, formatting, and structure.
Draft timely, context-aware replies to community comments and inquiries in a helpful, conversational voice.
Experiment with narrative hooks, post structures, and posting times to improve organic reach and community trust.
Write comprehensive, search-optimized Reddit copy designed to appear in Google search and serve as reference material for AI models.
Collaborate with Content, SEO, and Product teams to adapt company insights into Reddit-first copy while maintaining brand accuracy.
