About The Position

UEI® Group companies are worldwide industry leaders in the supply and manufacture of foil stamping and embossing products. We are passionate about using precision, artistic execution, and innovative efficiencies to reliably provide engraving and foils to our customers around the world. We have a great opportunity for a candidate who is detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in their work as an Engraving Etcher— no prior experience required, as we provide on-the-job training. Hours for this position are M–F, 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm.

Requirements

Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn etching equipment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Proven mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year experience operating etching tank preferred

Responsibilities

Accurately measure and add chemicals to etching baths and sumps according to established specifications
Monitor chemical levels and maintain optimal bath conditions for copper plate etching
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols when handling chemical substances
Assist with routine preventative maintenance procedures
Clean and maintain mechanical devices and hardware components
Support the replacement of non-precision mechanical equipment as needed
Inspect etched products for defects and verify conformance to process specifications
Identify and report any quality issues or process deviations
Maintain detailed records of chemical additions and process parameters
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all OSHA and environmental regulations
