About The Position

Lynn Electronics, part of NSI Industries’ Network Infrastructure unit, is hiring a Copper Assembler Associate at its division headquarters in North Wales, Pennsylvania. The associate prepares cable assemblies according to specifications and quality requirements, including assembling and testing copper cable. This is a full-time, first-shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions in English.
• Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to read and understand customer technical drawings and detailed written work orders.

Nice To Haves

• One to three or more years of related assembly experience; fiber cable assembly experience is preferred, but training may be provided.
• Hands-on experience assembling electromechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, and test copper cable, including stripping and terminating wires for standard and specialty products using hand tools and other equipment.
• Solder interconnections to IPC-620 standards when required.
• Work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Read and understand customer technical drawings.
• Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
