About The Position

Tourisme Gaspésie is seeking a mobilizing and engaged individual to fill the position of Coordinator – Territorial Structuring and Mobilization. This role actively contributes to the development and structuring of the regional tourism offering. The individual mobilizes local stakeholders, acts as a proximity resource for partners, and supports the emergence of structuring projects. Present in the field, they participate in the coordination of regional initiatives and the animation of concerted approaches, while contributing to the influence of Tourisme Gaspésie and the development of sustainable, innovative tourism rooted in the territory's reality.

Requirements

  • University degree (bachelor's) in regional development, tourism, land use planning, project management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in territorial development or project coordination
  • Proficiency with digital tools, particularly Google Workspace
  • Availability for frequent travel within the Gaspésie territory
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support structuring projects related to regional tourism development
  • Accompany partners and foster collaboration among stakeholders
  • Contribute to identifying the territory's development needs, challenges, and opportunities
  • Participate in the deployment of initiatives promoting sustainable, innovative, and year-round tourism
  • Ensure an active field presence and maintain close ties with businesses and partners
  • Lead meetings, committees, and concerted approaches
  • Contribute to strategic thinking and the development of the regional tourism offering
  • Monitor trends and share field observations with teams and partners
  • Support the implementation of actions, projects, and events of the Development department
  • Collaborate in promoting Tourisme Gaspésie and mobilizing territorial stakeholders
