As a Talent & Development Coordinator, you will play a key role supporting both the HR teams and the distribution center operations. Reporting to the Regional Director, Talent & Development, you will actively contribute to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, administrative management, and the daily support of managers and team members. We are looking for a proactive, organized, bilingual (French and English), and solution-oriented individual who can thrive efficiently in a fast-paced operational environment. Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) or university degree in Human Resources, Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a human resources, administrative coordination, or operational support role.
  • Experience in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and payroll processing.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with HR systems and payroll platforms (Kronos, Workday, and My Learning Hub).
  • Ability to produce and analyze administrative and operational reports.
  • Good understanding of administrative processes, invoicing, and document tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
  • High level of autonomy, resourcefulness, and initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent situations professionally.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and employee service skills.
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with managers, supervisors, and team members.
  • Strong attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the full recruitment cycle: posting positions, screening applications, coordinating and conducting interviews, making hiring recommendations, and preparing required documentation.
  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes for new team members to ensure a positive and efficient employee experience.
  • Maintain and update employee statuses and employee information across various HR systems.
  • Manage and update electronic employee files for hourly and salaried team members while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of HR data.
  • Support the implementation and follow-up of talent and development programs aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in the review, update, and implementation of internal policies as well as the maintenance of the training management system.
  • Produce, analyze, and monitor various reports to support company programs, initiatives, and performance indicators.
  • Act as an HR resource person for supervisors, managers, and team members while providing backup support for various HR programs and activities as needed.
  • Manage job postings and assignments in accordance with the collective agreement, internal policies, and applicable seniority rules.
  • Prepare, validate, and distribute union lists and monthly seniority lists while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Support initiatives related to regulatory compliance, labour relations, and union requirements.
  • Support the implementation and compliance of occupational health and safety programs throughout the organization.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of internal practices related to communication, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Participate in the planning, organization, and coordination of internal events, including recognition activities, team meetings, and corporate events.
  • Organize and actively participate in the employee engagement committee to foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating work culture.
  • Ensure complete and accurate payroll processing, including required validations and follow-ups.
  • Respond to team members’ questions regarding payroll, benefits, and internal policies.
  • Support supervisors with payroll-related and employee management processes.
  • Manage administrative follow-ups related to absences, leaves, and CNESST files in collaboration with the management team.
  • Coordinate follow-ups with corporate teams regarding invoicing, payroll, and benefits.
  • Manage invoicing processes, vendor follow-ups, and contracted services.
  • Ensure administrative supplies required for operations are maintained.
  • Participate in optimizing administrative and operational processes.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of new systems, procedures, and corporate programs.
  • Perform any other related duties contributing to the smooth operation of the team and operations.
