About The Position

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering
  • 2 years of relevant experience in construction project management
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project and/or Primavera P6 software (asset)
  • Knowledge of the Autodesk suite (asset)
  • Project experience with BIM platforms (asset)

Responsibilities

  • Proceed with the monitoring and inspection of work
  • Take quantity surveys
  • Plan and ensure the proper coordination of work with foremen, surveyors, superintendents, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors
  • Participate in meetings with clients, engineers, and project managers
  • Obtain the necessary permits and authorizations for the execution of work
  • Assist the superintendent in various administrative and technical tasks
  • Plan and verify material orders (various metal parts, formwork, rebar, etc.)
  • Follow up (content validation) of shop drawings and other contractual documents required as needed
  • Participate in the development and updating of project schedules
  • Perform various follow-up tasks on the construction site
