About The Position

This position oversees and coordinates all aspects of the OBGYN student education programs, including pre-clerkship preceptorships, third-year clerkships, fourth-year rotations, visiting student senior electives, and the OBGYN Interest Group (OGIG). Responsibilities include developing and managing student schedules, coordinating examinations and educational activities, maintaining student records and compliance documentation, and supporting student recruitment and engagement initiatives. The role serves as a liaison between students, faculty, residency staff, and external organizations to ensure effective communication and program operations. Additionally, the position manages program logistics, budgets, travel, educational resources, website updates, conferences, leadership development opportunities, and compliance with QCOM and LCME requirements while maintaining student scheduling and documentation systems within LEO software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalency of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of OB/Gyn as a career choice.
  • Knowledge of health administration, community orientation primary care, educational programming, event planning, leadership development, and public relations or marketing.
  • Knowledge of curriculum development.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to develop and implement programs.
  • Ability to plan events.
  • Ability to oversee student leaders.
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to manage budgets and handle financial records.
  • Ability to use a computer and related software and applications.
