About The Position

The Vegetation Management Coordinator supports the operational, financial, regulatory, and administrative functions of the Vegetation Management Department by coordinating office operations, maintaining department records, analyzing and reporting data, supporting contractor and customer communications, and helping ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and financial requirements. The Coordinator also develops and supports public outreach initiatives, training programs, and process improvements designed to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Vegetation Management program.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business, Accounting or 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Experience with People Soft, Maximo, Ariba, SAP, Microsoft, Fieldnote and other applications beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Support vegetation management planning, coordination, and administration across the service territory, including program schedules, trackers, and follow-up items.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and contractors on work planning, workload forecasting, reporting, training, and customer communications.
  • Track and resolve vegetation management inquiries referred by Customer Service, ensuring timely follow-up, documentation, and resolution.
  • Compile, analyze, and report operational and regulatory data for annual reports, data requests, compliance tracking, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Allocate invoices to the correct FERC accounts and review month-end financial reports to support budget tracking, spend forecasting, and compliance with SEC and Liberty requirements.
  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, reports, records, and program documentation that support data accuracy, decision-making, and program status visibility.
  • Support and develop public outreach efforts with Communications, Business and Community Development, local government, civic organizations, and schools.
  • Coordinate Annual Tree Line USA certification requirements, including contractor training, public education, and program feedback.
  • Develop procedures and process improvements that improve efficiency, administrative effectiveness, reporting consistency, and data accuracy.
  • Respond to changing priorities, emerging issues, and operational challenges.
