Hermosa, located approximately 75 miles south-east of Tucson, Arizona, is the only advanced mining project in the United States as of 2023 that could produce two federally designated critical minerals—manganese and zinc—as well as silver and lead. The project has the potential to help power the nation’s clean energy future, strengthen the domestic supply chain of critical minerals, grow the local economy, and improve lives in Santa Cruz County and the surrounding community for generations to come. As the Underground Development & Construction Coordinator you will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality execution of shaft sinking and/or lateral development activites. You will partner closely with contractors and the Project team to align with environmental, health, safety, and loss control standards while fostering a collaborative and transparent work environment. In this role, you will contribute to operational readiness, support mine planning integration, and ensure quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes are effectively implemented; and perform other duties as assigned. This is a site-based role located at the Hermosa Project near Patagonia, Arizona.
