About The Position

The Office of Student Accountability & Restorative Practices (OSARP) facilitates student development and restoration through a fair process that holds students accountable to community and university standards in order to support student and community success. The Coordinator of Restorative Practices reports to the Assistant Director of Restorative Practices in the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices and has responsibility for the following:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with facilitation, such as facilitating group discussions, educational programs and/or workshops
  • Commitment to student development and a student-learning environment
  • Experience with maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive information

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Restorative Justice, conflict resolution, or other related field
  • Demonstrated previous professional experience in a higher education/college student affairs setting, or similar environment
  • Experience with, or training in, Restorative Justice, conflict resolution, or similar practices
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with various campus departments and community partners

Responsibilities

  • Support the Restorative Practices unit, case load, and programs.
  • Participate as a Case Administrator
  • Maintain confidentiality and other legal requirements
  • Foster positive working relationships
  • Other Duties as Assigned
