About The Position

This position involves developing and implementing strategies to support the department's goals and objectives. The role requires effective communication and the ability to lead individuals and/or large teams in accomplishing set goals. The coordinator will provide direction and collaborate with colleagues in Finance, Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Safety, and Information Technology to meet departmental needs. Responsibilities include supporting clinical practice by assessing needs and developing appropriate dashboards, data reports, and other metric measurement documentation. The role also entails providing organizational support and coordination for projects aligned with overall departmental/divisional strategies, assessing effectiveness through external benchmarking, and taking initiative in strategic planning efforts. The individual will serve as a department representative on various department and institutional committees, requiring both independent judgment and team decision-making. This is a hybrid role, combining remote and onsite work, with a requirement to work onsite three days per week and additional in-person attendance as needed for meetings and departmental needs. Candidates must reside within driving distance of the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus. This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship, and Mayo Clinic does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance, or related field.
  • Three years relevant clinical experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must live within driving distance of the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus.
