About The Position

Responsible for receiving and logging the samples while following cGMP requirements. Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory of all laboratory supplies, samples, standards, reagents, columns and placebos, while working under minimum supervision. Responsible for providing samples and lab supplies to all QC team members. Assists in maintaining a constant inventory of clean laboratory glassware and a clean wash lab area. This is a contract role with a weekend shift, Tuesday to Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Requirements

  • Community College education in a recognized educational institution in Chemistry or a related field; or relevant experience
  • Good oral and written English communication skills
  • Knowledge of cGMP/cGLP
  • Problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office Programs.

Responsibilities

  • Receives Raw Material, Semi-Finished, Finished, Validation, Stability and STR samples immediately upon delivery as per the established procedures.
  • Maintains a proper storage of all samples as per the recommended storage conditions.
  • Assists in maintaining a constant inventory of clean laboratory glassware and a clean wash lab area, when required.
  • Assists in maintaining a constant inventory of the gas cylinders as and when required.
  • Provides timely assistance to lab chemists when requested.
  • Monitors and maintains inventory of Compendia Standards, Primary Standards and Secondary Standards.
  • Monitors and maintains inventories of Placebo, System suit tubes, Internal standards, Impurities, Reagents and HPLC/GC columns.
  • Provides standards with C of As, when required for Internal and External customers.
  • Performs logging of raw material samples required for House Standardization into LIMS.
  • Performs routine tasks such as disposing samples in a safe and compliant manner and coordinates removal of pharmaceutical waste.
  • Responsible for sending laboratory samples for external testing in compliance manner.
  • Performs TDA related duties whenever required.
  • Coordinates and maintains an inventory of photocopier supplies.
  • Performs activation and deactivation of lab instrumentation in LIMS, when required.
  • Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
