About The Position

The Coordinator provides support to the SVP, Development and Production at National Geographic Content. The Content team partners with PMD and other departments to manage creative, budgets, schedules, and deliverables with third-party production companies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1+ years of long form, unscripted production experience working as a Production Coordinator or Production Assistant on original productions for cable networks and/or streaming platforms and/or third-party production companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of production and post-production processes and logistics in addition to familiarity with broadcast deliverables and technical specifications.
  • Experience working with international clients and Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the Executive’s schedule, meetings, agendas, deadlines and communications across multiple time zones
  • Handling travel arrangements and expenses
  • Creating and synthesizing data-driven reports and presentations for high level executives at National Geographic and Disney
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders
  • Overseeing departmental budget
  • Supporting administrative tasks, including mail, supplies, and vendor relations
