About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional to join our Teaching and Learning-Equity in Learning Programs department as the TLELP:Coordinator. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our students by bridging the gap between education and industry, ensuring our programs are aligned with state and federal standards, and preparing students for successful careers. The coordinator will lead and manage CTE programs, utilizing data and market insights to enhance our offerings and maintain compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in industry, CTE, or a related field, with a proven track record of successful project management and leadership.
  • Advanced computer skills, with mastery of Microsoft Office suite, Outlook, and Google Workspace, and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong partnerships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, think strategically, and make informed decisions to drive program success.
  • Knowledge of state and federal education regulations and compliance requirements, particularly in relation to CTE programs.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in learning environments.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Education, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Project management certification is preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage CTE program approvals, revisions, and continuous improvement processes, ensuring alignment with state and federal standards.
  • Utilize data, labor market information, and performance metrics to identify gaps and drive strategic program enhancements.
  • Ensure program accountability by staying updated on state and federal requirements and regulations.
  • Exercise global thinking, strategic planning, and independent judgment to provide direction and leadership for CTE programs.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with diverse district and school teams, fostering a culture of equity and inclusion.
  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with industry and postsecondary institutions to enhance our CTE offerings and student outcomes.
  • Serve as a cross-functional project manager, utilizing advanced organizational skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform program development and curriculum design.
  • Provide mentorship and support to CTE teachers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous professional development and growth.
