NeighborHealth, formerly East Boston Neighborhood Health Center, is a large community health center serving the greater Boston area with a commitment to patient and community health. This position is primarily responsible for all registration and scheduling activities in the South End Patient Access Department, focusing on exceptional customer service and accurate collection/verification of patient information. The role also supports clinical operations by managing calls, scheduling appointments, coordinating refills, screening calls for nurses, relaying messages to providers, and making outreach calls. The goal is to maximize health center revenues through accurate data and verified insurance coverage, while ensuring efficient patient flow. A successful candidate will demonstrate superior customer service, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
