Reporting to the Vice President of Organizational Development, the Coordinator of Organizational Development provides professional-level coordination and project management for college-wide organizational development initiatives that support employee engagement, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, professional development, and institutional culture. The coordinator manages assigned projects and initiatives from planning through implementation and evaluation, coordinating timelines, deliverables, communications, resources, and stakeholders to support successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Business Administration, Higher Education Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, or a closely related field required.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience in organizational development, leadership development, employee engagement, project management, higher education administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with strategic planning, change management, employee engagement, and/or leadership development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience planning professional development programs, workshops, conferences, or institutional events.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration or project management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Change Management certification such as PROSCI, CCMP, ATD, or a related credential preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the development and implementation of college-wide organizational development programs and initiatives that support employee engagement, professional development, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and institutional culture.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, deliverables, and implementation of processes for assigned organizational development initiatives.
  • Coordinate project activities, monitor progress, identify potential issues or barriers, and work with appropriate stakeholders to develop solutions and ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Coordinate the execution of college-wide programs, workshops, training sessions, retreats, employee engagement and recognition activities, and other organizational development events, including scheduling, registration, facilities, technology, materials, communications, vendors, and other resources necessary for successful program delivery.
  • Develop and maintain processes to collect, track, and evaluate program participation, engagement, feedback, and outcomes.
  • Analyze data and trends to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and inform future organizational development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other analyses and provide recommendations to the Vice President of Organizational Development and other appropriate stakeholders regarding program effectiveness, process improvements, and future opportunities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned organizational development programs and initiatives, coordinating information, activities, and resources among departments, employees, facilitators, vendors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across the College and with external partners to support successful program implementation.
  • Research organizational development practices, resources, and trends and use this information to support the development and continuous improvement of organizational development programs and initiatives.
  • Support institutional cultural heritage planning and programming in collaboration with appropriate College departments and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate program records, project documentation, calendars, schedules, and other resources and coordinate program-related administrative activities in accordance with established College processes.
