About The Position

The Coordinator, OPEX operates the Opex Perfect Pick to support order fulfillment and stock replenishment. The role guides fulfillment, replenishment, process improvement, and training to provide high-volume, accurate, and cost-effective fulfillment services to Guitar Center customers. The position also supports other Shipping & Receiving departments and performs related operational tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Analytical skills to evaluate information, products, or other items, identify discrepancies, and resolve problems.
• Ability to collaborate, develop cooperation and teamwork, build relationships, and offer help and suggestions for improvement.
• Customer focus and understanding of customer service principles and the importance of an excellent customer experience.
• Initiative to identify opportunities and issues, prioritize work, follow through, take positive action independently, and pursue ongoing learning and development.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and courteously with diverse people; demonstrate respect; and read and comprehend instructions.
• Organizational skills, including time and resource management, prioritization, systematic planning, multitasking, attention to detail, and timely task completion.
• Ability to navigate the technology systems, equipment, and computer programs needed to fulfill communication, customer service, and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Opex Perfect Pick using a touch screen computer to fulfill customer orders and replenish stock items.
• Work in other Shipping & Receiving departments.
• Follow safety operational guidelines, including those for the individual work area and department.
• Train other associates on the Opex Perfect Pick as directed.
• Perform department operational tasks relating to the Opex Perfect Pick as assigned by the Supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
