About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with the management of day-to-day operations of the Hatchery Feed Mill Transportation or Production Complex. Responsibilities include providing administrative and supervisory support to the location manager; maintaining official records; reviewing and setting production schedules; creating, updating, and approving weekly work schedules (including vacations, leaves of absence, etc.); managing the SAP Purchase Order system; administering the safety program; and performing all other duties as required by management.

Requirements

Experienced-level position requiring thorough knowledge of the work area
Typically requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5+ years of related experience
Accountability Role: Provides coordination and support for moderately complex assignments within a department or group
Work is performed under general supervision with some degree of independence
Requires comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations and how they impact related work units
Provides tactical guidance or recommendations to internal and external customers to resolve issues within established guidelines
Strong customer service skills required
Standard computer skills required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Must use safe lifting techniques
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; or hear
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
When visiting facilities, the team member is expected to follow all required safety procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment.
