The Coordinator, Operations will establish inspection procedures on ships, barges, plant inventories, and internal tank transfers, including procedures for uncertainty estimation, sampling, calculation, and custody transfers. This role requires extensive hands-on experience across a wide range of bulk liquids, including petroleum products, chemicals, and specialized cargoes, utilizing API standards. The position involves operating diverse measurement equipment, interpreting complex calibration tables, and applying accurate sampling methods. The Coordinator will adapt procedures for marine and land-based storage, ensuring accuracy and compliance in high-value, high-risk operations. This role also serves as the local contact for contract administration issues, maintaining communication flow between responsible parties, organizing requested services, relaying hazard information, and managing communication to resolve problems. Responsibilities include collecting inspector information, communicating with the laboratory for analysis, and assembling final reports. The Coordinator will also maintain accounts receivable balances and accurate records for billing, volume reconciliation, and claims handling. Additionally, this role involves coordinating with corporate business development on marketing plans, visiting customers and jobsites, and performing annual performance appraisals. This position requires 15% domestic travel.
