About The Position

Temple University's Athletics Department is searching for an Coordinator of Leadership Operations. This role provides high-level and strategic administrative support, performing a variety of complex administrative functions of a sensitive and confidential nature. The Coordinator will coordinate schedules, events, and activities efficiently across a range of constituents, establishing and maintaining professional relationships as a representative of the Vice President & Director of Athletics. The incumbent will manage key initiatives identified by leadership and serve as a representative for these groups to staff, coaches, student-athletes, campus partners, and external constituents. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • A minimum of one year of administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated computer experience to include full suite of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in writing and editing for high-profile communication.
  • Experience supporting senior-level administrators.
  • Ability to understand and uphold the mission and goals of the athletic department.
  • Ability to manage multiple collaborative projects and systems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Strong integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference and University rules.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree.
  • Experience in executive operations in a college athletics setting at the NCAA DI/FBS level.
  • Experience in interacting and working with high-level executives, coaches, student-athletes, and constituents.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high-level and strategic administrative support.

  • Coordinates schedules, events, and activities in a highly professional, efficient manner across a range of constituents.
  • Establishes and maintains professional and productive working relationships with university-wide and external constituents at all levels.
  • Manages key initiatives identified by the Vice President & Director of Athletics and the Athletics executive leadership team.
  • Serves as a representative for leadership groups to staff, coaches, student-athletes, campus partners, and external constituents.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Prepares agendas, reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Facilitates the effective completion of pending priorities and matters.
  • Works with diverse populations.
  • Complies with NCAA, Conference and University rules.
