About The Position

The Coordinator, Inventory Management supports inventory and operations improvement efforts at Cardinal Health. Inventory Management is accountable for demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and stocking optimization to minimize costs and inventory while meeting service requirements. This role supports initiatives including OWI improvement, Internal Damage reduction, DSCSA reconciliation, system exception resolution, and data trend analysis. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., subject to change.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, dashboards, and system exceptions.
Attention to detail and a continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
Clear communication and the ability to work with team members and leadership across shifts.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Relevant education or experience in inventory, supply chain, or distribution operations.

Responsibilities

Support OWI improvement by reviewing results, identifying root causes, and helping drive corrective actions to meet MBO standards.
Lead and support Internal Damage improvement efforts, including trend review and root-cause work on damage types such as knife-cut damage.
Research, work, and clear system exceptions accurately and on time.
Support DSCSA Reconcile activities to keep records accurate and compliant.
Perform data trend analysis across inventory and operations to uncover opportunities and recommend improvements.
Provide end-of-day oversight to ensure dashboards are clean and system exceptions are cleared.
Partner with Supply Chain leadership and operations teams to fill gaps and take on new improvement projects as business needs change.
