About The Position

Responsible for administering and maintaining Sysco Merchandising and Supply Chain (SMS) centralized pricing and purchase order flow. The role implements and maintains supplier product costing across multiple applications, reviews supplier cost submissions, resolves purchase order inquiries and claims, and supports internal colleagues and external suppliers with pricing processes. This is a remote position.

Requirements

High school diploma.
At least 2 years of business experience.
Effective interpersonal and oral, written, and listening communication skills to foster a positive team environment and clearly communicate with Sysco departments and suppliers.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to initiate action and work independently in a remote environment.
Strict attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
Intermediate to advanced analytical skills for accuracy.
English language proficiency.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's or associate degree.
Experience in customer service, contract or rebate management, project management, or problem solving.
Knowledge of Supplier Earned Income Agreements.
Knowledge of supply chain distribution processes.
Knowledge of Sysco systems and processes for centralized price management, including RME and AS240.
Knowledge of product codes (SUPC/Material), vendor codes (SUVC/SMS Vendor# logic), and pricing; ability to develop Supplier and Sysco OpSite relationships.

Responsibilities

Implement and maintain accurate centralized supplier product costing in multiple applications.
Implement and review supplier cost file submissions for accuracy.
Resolve live purchase order inquiries before the purchase order ship date.
Research and resolve purchase order claims and repayment requests in collaboration with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely reconciliations.
Assist and educate internal colleagues and external suppliers on pricing functionality and cost file submissions.
Implement and maintain new item additions and attributes.
Initiate root cause analysis of repetitive cost discrepancies and implement corrective action.
Manually maintain accurate supplier records for publication and use by multiple departments.
