The primary purpose will be to administer our preemployment process for new hires including background checks, motor vehicle record checks, scheduling drug testing and occupational health exams and ensuring I-9s are completed timely, submit new hire relocations to 3rd party vendor and DOT history checks.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of working with Department of Transportation with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) for drug and alcohol testing preferred
  • Associate degree in related field

Responsibilities

  • Establish supportive relationships with recruiters, generalist, and hiring managers while maintaining customer satisfaction for internal and external customers through the pre-employment/onboarding process
  • Process and monitor new hires for pre-employment screenings to include background requests and motor vehicle reports
  • Coordinate and schedule pre-employment drug screens and occupational health exams
  • Process new hire relocation requests
  • Process Department of Transportation verifications and history checks
  • Ensure timely I-9 completion
