About The Position

The HRIS Coordinator helps maintain accurate employee information in the Workday HCM system and supports basic system functionality. This role processes data changes, assists with system transactions, and provides initial support for HRIS-related questions. The position works closely with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and other teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive user experience.

Requirements

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Associate degree, 1-3 years of HRIS experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as payroll, onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance.
  • Continued employment is contingent upon all required licenses and certificates being maintained in active status without suspension or revocation.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday HCM, including core transactional processes and system navigation; familiarity with Workday reporting tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to established deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication both written and verbal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support HRIS processes including the accuracy of employee data changes, workflow processes, generating reports, audits, and other data changes as needed.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for system patches, module enhancements, and Workday updates.
  • Ensure required changes feed to other HR systems.
  • Manage the employee referral process.
  • Coordinate spot bonus process in Motivosity.
  • Assist with annual policy sign-off process and ad-hoc communication that require a signature or acknowledgement.
  • Supports the HRIS team with projects and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ability to write user guides, system process documentation, and FAQs.
  • Assist with training HR staff and end-users on system processes and new features.
  • Maintain confidentiality of the information and exercise good judgment and discretion.
  • Manage HR Mail and Invoices as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
