About The Position

The Office of Engaged Learning at North Central College is committed to integrating experiential learning into the academic experience of every student. This position, reporting to the Assistant Provost for Student Success and Engaged Learning, supports high-impact practices such as Community-Engaged Learning, the Center for Social Impact, and Cultural Events. The coordinator will collaborate with faculty and staff, provide administrative and logistical support, maintain program resources, create internal and external messaging, and assist with assessment and evaluation. This role is crucial for cultivating and sustaining community partnerships while supporting faculty, staff, and students involved in community-based learning and volunteerism. The coordinator will also manage partnerships to facilitate internships for NC students with non-profit organizations. This position is integral to fostering an intellectual, civically-engaged community of learners at North Central College and requires a dedication to community engagement, an equitable democracy, and the advancement of the common good.
