About The Position

Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times. Serves as a working leader, coordinating activities of workers and service employees engaged in food operations. Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees. Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity. Assists in the supervision of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities. Orients and trains employees. Performs day to day assignments in addition to lead duties. Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolutions. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 3 years progressively more responsible experience in the institutional food service industry.
Must have production experience.
Ability to problem solve.
Cash handling experience.
Previous experience supervising both people & resources.
Must be self-motivated.
Ability to effectively communicate policies, and/or procedures in a manner easily understood by fellow employees.
