About The Position

Texas Health Mansfield Stadium is a multi-use soccer stadium complex located in Mansfield, Texas, and is scheduled to open this summer. North Texas Soccer Club, the MLS NEXT Pro affiliate of FC Dallas, will serve as the venue’s primary tenant. The stadium is operated by REV Entertainment and Hunt Sports. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a venue operations role and/or supervising staff at a similar facility.
  • Experience with venue set-ups and material handling equipment.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD and other computer software skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to multi-task at a high level of detail across multiple projects.
  • Able to work well within a team environment, offering assistance and support to team members whenever necessary.
  • Able to work irregular hours to include overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • May be subject to 24 hour per day and 7 days per week call.
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills; able to meet definitive timeline goals.
  • Effective team player mentality; must be able to adapt to changes and work in a multi-client environment.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods; must be able to lift and carry heavy, awkward objects up to 75 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment; body mobility to climb, crawl, walk and kneel.
  • Requires long periods of time on feet.
  • Ability to walk, sit, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, bend and extend arms and legs fully.
  • Ability to use hands to manipulate and effectively use tools and controls.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year degree in Business, Hospitality, Communication, Sports Management or related field of study – may be substituted for work experience.
  • Experience with audio, video, and lighting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead part-time and contract workers in daily, pre-event, event and post-event conversion, audio, video, lighting, and set-up services for REV Entertainment and provide hands on training to the conversion team.
  • Maintain all equipment in excellent working order and schedules regular preventative maintenance.
  • Sets building configuration as per SOP for each individual event.
  • Must be proficient in all tasks including but not limited to construction and precise placement of stages, tables, chairs, bike rack barricades, stanchions, and reading AutoCAD drawings.
  • Set and strike portable sound systems, microphones, projectors, and lighting equipment for various events and internal needs.
  • Review conversion tasks, outlines, and schedules on a daily basis to ensure that all requirements are clear and the expectation of the setup is understood before work begins.
  • Assist with the administration of training programs, purchasing, scheduling staff, administrative tasks and documents team member work performance for extraordinary work and non-compliance.
  • Inspect and keep an updated inventory of conversion related equipment and tools for damage or deficiencies and make appropriate reports.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of conversion standards to ensure a positive and professional image is maintained for the ballpark.
  • Set, run, and strike portable sound systems, microphones, projectors, and lighting equipment for various events and internal needs.
  • Perform set-up tasks independently.
  • Complete a comprehensive checklist of each conversion to ensure the proper conditions and that all safety aspects are reviewed.
  • Assists with data collection and analyzing of different metrics related to Venue Operations, Guest Services, and Security.
  • Assist other REV Departments on as needed basis.
  • Knowledge of safety equipment, standards, systems and OSHA guidelines.
  • Receive supervision and direction from the Director of Operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
