Reporting to the Environment Lead, the Environment Coordinator is responsible for coordinating multiple development projects across site to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and manage effective integration with existing operations at Fording River Operations (FRO). To be successful, we are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities, who can excel in a multi-functional team environment with nominal supervision; someone with excellent written and verbal communication, who can effectively build and foster relationships while engaging with communities of interest and professionals at all levels of the organization for the purpose of influencing and implementing continuous improvement. In addition, strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organizational, time management, and analytical skills as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are vital for this role.
