The goal of EDF’s Energy Transition Team is to bend the curve on global greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel production and use by 2030, cleanly and equitably. We will achieve this through a defined set of strategies targeted at 1) reducing emissions from fossil fuel production, delivery, and use, and 2) reducing demand for fossil fuels in power generation, transportation, buildings, and industry. To achieve this goal, we seek reforms in law, regulation, and/or business practice through a mix of strategic corporate partnerships, direct engagement with policymakers, and mobilizing investor and public sentiment in favor of change. In formulating and achieving our strategies, we will work in close collaboration with EDF regions, draw on cutting-edge science and rigorous economic and financial analysis, and act with team culture goals to develop durable solutions. This role will also support executives. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Coordinator, Energy Transition Operations provides vital administrative support by developing and implementing efficient protocols for managing and tracking projects, expenses, invoices, and contract management, scheduling, and meeting and event planning for projects designed to help advance the goals of the Energy Transition team. This position supports team members located in different time zones and countries within the Energy Transition team so the ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required. The Coordinator proactively solves problems and independently troubleshoots and addresses issues that arise and possesses strong communication skills both oral and written. This is a challenging role requiring advanced organizational and time management skills, great attention to detail and the ability to respond to quickly shifting priorities.
