About The Position

The Coordinator, Educational and Scholarly Initiatives will be responsible for supporting and coordinating various educational and scholarly activities. This role requires strong organizational and administrative skills to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. The coordinator will work closely with students, faculty, staff, and institutional partners to ensure the smooth execution of programs and initiatives. Proficiency in technology and the ability to learn new platforms are essential. A flexible work schedule may be necessary to accommodate student programming and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum three years of progressively responsible administrative, program coordination, or higher education experience.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects and competing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, solve problems, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to establish collaborative working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and institutional partners.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn new technology platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in medical education, higher education, or student affairs.
  • Experience coordinating educational, student, or academic programs.
  • Experience with educational technologies or learning management systems.
  • Experience with event coordination, data tracking, assessment, or program evaluation.
