About The Position

Postmedia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the full-time position of Coordinator, Distribution Services. This role involves supervising and organizing newspaper distribution, flyer and parcel distribution network, coordinating daily distribution operations, resolving delivery and service issues, maintaining service levels through an independent distributor network, and overseeing contract drivers.

Requirements

Two (2) years relevant work experience, with some supervisory and previous distribution experience preferred.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude, communicating effectively with other employees and independent contractors while managing multiple tasks, and working effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Strong customer service skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft 365.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to recruit and hire independent contractors.
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid Saskatchewan drivers’ license

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with independent contract distributors is an asset.

Responsibilities

Supervise and organize newspaper distribution and service of the Provincial newspapers, Flyer and Parcel distribution network.
Effectively coordinate and supervise the day to day distribution operations.
Proactively resolve all related delivery and service problems.
Maintain acceptable service levels through the independent distributor delivery network.
Oversee and support a network of contract drivers.
Other duties as assigned
