About The Position

The New York Islanders Hockey Club is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and motivated Coordinator, Consumer Marketing to join their team. This role owns the deployment of all New York Islanders email and SMS communications and serves as the day-to-day driver of their Marketing Support Plan and campaign go-to-market process. The Performance Marketing team develops and executes data-driven campaigns that drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, focusing on reaching the right audience with the right message and continuously optimizing performance based on insights and results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 1+ years in digital marketing, advertising, or performance marketing
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Attentive, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Curious self-starter who learns new concepts quickly
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once
  • AI-forward: a point of view on how AI and emerging technologies can be embedded into everyday workflows
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Familiarity with pulling data in SQL

Responsibilities

  • Help create New York Islanders email and SMS communications
  • Manage campaign execution within email and SMS platforms, including audience selection, scheduling, and deployment
  • Own overall quality assurance - link checks, copy reviews, segmentation validation, and email & SMS calendar upkeep before every launch
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure email and SMS efforts are aligned with broader paid media and go-to-market campaigns
  • Gather, organize, and prepare audience lists for use in paid media campaigns and audience segmentation efforts
  • Help maintain accuracy and organization of targeting inputs used across campaign execution
  • Support audience strategy by ensuring proper alignment between campaign objectives and target segments
  • Help execute Marketing Support Plans (MSPs), serving as a point of intake, documentation, and follow-through for campaign requests as needed
  • Assist campaign go-to-market strategy and launch, translating business objectives into channel plans and executional timelines
  • Support go-to-market planning and execution across marketing initiatives. For event-specific campaigns, in-person event support may be required as part of execution duties
  • Complete campaign briefs, ideation plans, and execution documents to ensure campaigns align with broader business goals
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to help keep launches on track and properly documented
  • Assist in submitting creative requests to the creative team, ensuring campaign objectives, timelines, and asset needs are clearly communicated
  • Participate in the creative review process and provide feedback to help refine and improve marketing materials
  • Help ensure assets are delivered accurately and on time for campaign launches
  • Report on email and SMS campaign performance, including delivery, engagement, and conversion metrics
  • Utilize platforms such as Google Analytics and Tableau to monitor campaign performance and identify trends
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports highlighting key performance metrics, insights, and areas for optimization
  • Support testing and performance analysis to improve campaign effectiveness over time
