About The Position

Responsible for handling assumption loan transactions and adhering to company guidelines. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The base pay is $26.44 per hour + bonus. Carrington Mortgage Services-Retail Lending is part of The Carrington Companies. We offer a wide variety of home purchase and refinance products for government and conventional loan programs, specializing in underserved programs for borrowers with less than perfect credit and low down payment. Requirements

• Knowledge of FHA and VA products
• Knowledge of purchase and refinance transactions
• Knowledge of Carrington policies, procedures, guidelines and organization structure
• Knowledge of Carrington’s underwriting guidelines and investor requirements
• Knowledge of Disclosure Requirements for LE and initial disclosure packages

Responsibilities

• Discuss steps involved in the assumption process with prospective and current customers.
• Manage the loan process according to current legal and company guidelines and applicable federal, state and local regulations.
• Follow up with prospective borrowers regarding documents that were submitted for review, analyze credit reports, income documents, and conduct further research as required.
• Maintain in depth knowledge of FHA and VA products in order to provide the highest levels of service for our clients.
• Maintain knowledge of Disclosing Requirements for LE and disclosure preparation.
• Adhere to all phone disclosure requirements when speaking to customers.
• Ensure loans are in compliance with Carrington guidelines, applicable state and federal regulations, and investor requirements.
• Partner with operations staff to ensure expedient process of file flow.
• Provide a high level of customer service to customer and agent during the loan process.
• Maintain relationships with Vylla agents, Concierge and title.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
