About The Position

Under the direction of Adult Mental Health Services Supervisor, this position administers, coordinates, and provides leadership and supervision for a multi-disciplinary team of professional and paraprofessional staff serving triage for persons experiencing a psychiatric emergency. This position supervises Crisis Services, Crisis Mobile, and 911 Dispatch Crisis Mobile. Responsibilities include clinical and administrative supervision of crisis services and crisis mobile, some direct services to consumers, consultation and participation in program planning and coordination across program units and departments (e.g., Community Services for the Developmentally Disabled, Families Forward), data collection and analysis, development of policy and procedures, and other administrative duties. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the program/sub-unit in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential (E.g: LMSW, LPC, LP, LLP).
  • A minimum of three years of work experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • One-year work experience in a lead position or progressively more responsible position.
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both in writing and verbally.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Must be physically able to access CMHA-CEI & Community Facilities.
  • Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job-related use.
  • May be required to participate in a management 24-hour on call system, which may include holidays and weekends.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
