About The Position

The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah is seeking a full-time Administrative Program Coordinator to support the Eccles School. This dynamic role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can lead planning efforts from concept to execution with calm confidence, has strong organizational and prioritization skills, and excels at effective communication. This role requires a self-starter who can quickly learn new systems and processes, manage multiple priorities, and meet a variety of deadlines. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is essential. Prior experience with university or campus administrative systems and event planning is a plus. We are looking for someone who contributes to a collaborative environment, effectively communicates, and who brings a positive and professional attitude to the team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), plus one year of directly related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to department chairs
  • Assist with scheduling academic classes
  • Coordinate updates for the academic units' curriculum, website and catalog information
  • Manage and coordinate visits, meetings and conferences for the academic units
  • Assist with faculty and guest travel arrangements as needed
  • Assist with all faculty hiring and review processes (RPT/TFR/CAV)
  • Provide guidance to faculty regarding school and university policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
