The Center for Campus Wellness (CCW) is a confidential and comprehensive wellness office that provides wellness education, trainings and workshops (focus areas include basic needs, mental health, sexual health, violence prevention, and substance use); victim-survivor advocacy services and support; safer sex services for students; collegiate recovery program, wellness coaching, and peer mentorship. Mission of the Center for Campus Wellness Our mission is to support student well-being and success through holistic and comprehensive programs that center wellness, safety, and healing. We provide several resources, services, and programs for the campus, and while we primarily support students, we also offer select services for faculty and staff. About Student Affairs The Center for Campus Wellness is part of Student Affairs. Student Affairs is comprised of over 20 departments and is focused on supporting student well-being and success with the ultimate goal of assisting students in discovering their passion, people, and purpose. Student Affairs encourages U of U students to participate in the creation of their own campus culture, collaboratively working alongside professional staff, student leaders, and academic partners to ensure all members of our community not only feel welcomed but are fully incorporated into university life. The Basic Needs Collective (BNC) is managed by the Center for Campus Wellness and is a part of the Student Affairs division. We support student well-being and success. As a coordinated resource referral hub, we educate and connect students to campus and community resources to help them meet their basic needs. CCW- Seeks a Coordinator for the Basic Needs Collective who will have primary responsibility for o 35% Student Support & Case Management o 25% Outreach & Education coordination and facilitation o 25% Program/Resource Implementation & Operations o 15% Participation in CCW Campaigns, programming and initiatives JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Basic Needs Collective Program Manager, the Basic Needs Case Coordinator performs a wide range of administrative, programmatic, and technical duties that support the basic needs service area. Examples include coordinating basic needs services and providing student resources through intake, assessment, and referral assistance. The Basic Needs Collective Case Coordinator performs a full range of program and clerical assistance to support the basic needs service area. This includes building sustainable relationships with campus and community partners to obtain resources for students and promoting student success, retention, and degree completion by helping to remove barriers to their education.
