About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Coordinator, 2nd Shift for our new location at 517 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The hourly rate for this position is $20.94 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm until 1:30am, and Friday from 3:30pm until 7:30pm. This position is eligible for a variable pay incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. In the Coordinator role, responsibilities include planning, processing, and requesting manufacturing information using computer-generated data reports. The role supports the successful execution of scheduled production jobs across assigned areas by coordinating resources, materials, and information. This position also assists with managing production materials, controlling hardware expense items, and expediting shortages as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • 2 years of industrial manufacturing or operations experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn and use additional systems, including DMM, AS400, Turnback, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble products and verify quality in a Lean environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 months of experience operating a powered industrial vehicle (e.g., forklift)
  • 3 months of experience utilizing Eaton system controls including material management (DMM) and MRP/ERP (AS400)
  • 3 months of experience using hand and air tools.
  • South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate materials to meet scheduled ship dates and plan across functional areas
  • Review and update order and material status with manufacturing supervisors, material control personnel, work-area teams, customer service, and KanBan expeditors, including participation in regular multi-functional production meetings (weekly to daily, depending on responsibility)
  • Utilize computer systems and tools, including Microsoft Excel, DMM, AS400, Turnback, and the Material Synchronization Spreadsheet, to maintain control of floor stock and records
