Amazon is seeking a Coordination Program Manager with Construction and Design BIM proficiency to support the execution of BIM requirements and processes across the Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) program. This role will serve as the primary liaison between key internal Amazon design stakeholder teams, the GES Pre-Construction and Construction Execution teams, external design teams and general contractors to coordinate project work of all. A day in the life includes administration of coordination program activities across portfolio projects, ensuring project teams have the connections and resources needed to execute coordination between facility systems and Amazon operations equipment. It also involves attending and coaching project teams managing their own coordination meetings, providing technical insights, expertise, and connecting them with solutions when issues arise; ensuring teams stay on schedule, communications are effective, and scope creep or changes requiring escalation are identified before additional costs are incurred without approval. Additionally, the role involves managing program-level tracking that integrates high-level stakeholder schedules and coordination milestones across projects, working directly with Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360/ACC, developing documentation to support project coordination-related work and supporting the development of BIM standards, liaising with SMEs directly connected to the coordination program to help identify and resolve issues across projects, and acting as a direct contact with design teams and general contractors as a support role to the Construction Manager, Preconstruction Manager, and design engineers for Material Handling Equipment, serving as a resource for interfacing with internal Amazon teams to remove coordination roadblocks.
