About The Position

Own the Measurements that Make Flight Possible In our precision aerospace manufacturing facility, you will be the specialist who transforms drawings and models into reliable measurement routines. As a CMM expert, you’ll develop, maintain, and execute programs that validate high-tolerance machined components against customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. A Day in the Life You start by reviewing the latest engineering models and GD&T callouts. A first article arrives—its critical features demand microns of accuracy. You create a robust CMM routine, verify alignment strategies, and run the program. Midday, you support production with in-process inspections, analyzing results to keep the line moving. You collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve a nonconformance, update the program, and document corrective actions. Before end of shift, you verify calibration status on your CMM and prep for an upcoming customer audit.
