This CoOp position involves supporting the implementation of new computational methods for the automated analysis of mouse behavior. The student will gain experience in mouse behavioral methods, specifically with automated computational methods for measuring and analyzing behavior in mouse models of neurological disease. The role will also involve experience with computational pipelines for analyzing large amounts of video and other behavioral data, and in the application of machine learning/AI methods to draw biological conclusions from the data. This position is a collaboration between Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) investigators and the mouse behavior core at Harvard Medical School (HMS), supported by a consortium agreement between HMS, BWH, and Boston Children's Hospital.
