About The Position
Join our Ontario Specialty Pharmacy team for an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience. Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you'll gain hands-on exposure to specialty medications and patient support programs—well beyond a traditional retail setting.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited PharmD program and eligible for an APPE rotation.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Perform drug utilization reviews and initial patient counselling under pharmacist oversight.
- Support accurate preparation and dispensing of specialty medications, following NAPRA standards, Ontario College of Pharmacists guidelines, and site SOPs.
