About The Position

Currently we are looking for a Cooling Solution Architect. The Cooling Solution Architect will be responsible for the management of Schneider Electric customers, with focus and priority on the support of our VIP accounts. These customers will be supported during all the pre-design phase where the cooling setup/layout of the datacenter will be defined. The cooling solution architect will lead the definition of best solution thanks to a constant relationship with customers, consulting companies and the Schneider Electric entities worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical or Electronic engineering.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in cooling matters with a focus on Data Center applications.
  • Communication and relationship capabilities, with particular focus on cross-cultural relationships worldwide.
  • Awareness of the Data Center market and competition.
  • Knowledge about cooling products, e.g., inRoom – inRow – Chillers.
  • Team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a constant relationship with Global strategic accounts (e.g., Internet giants, CoLo, Service providers), acting as their main technical single point of contact.
  • Engage with consulting companies worldwide.
  • Collaborate with local Schneider Electric entities where new projects will be established.
  • Work on GSA projects on a daily basis.
  • Improve existing relationships with VIP customers and apply the same approach with potential new ones, bringing experiences and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Become a trusted advisor for end users and consultants through quarterly meetings tailored to customer needs/pains, face-to-face discussions, and visits to data centers during construction or commissioning phases for an end-to-end approach.
  • Participate in laboratory FWT (Field Work Testing) as a technical expert.
  • Cooperate daily with other departments, particularly the Sales team (for commercial offers and prioritization), Product specialists/Tendering team (for handover after cooling product setup definition), R&D (for identifying best solutions and added value for C&SP customers), and the Service department (for end-to-end customer support).
