About The Position

The Cooling Room Associate (also referred to as Cooling Room Attendant) serves as a quality assurance and control point between the baking rooms and the frosting area and/or product packing. The role follows Cheryl&Co.'s established mission, policies, and procedures, as well as specific instructions from the Food Production Manager.

The position works a 10-hour shift within the first-shift scheduling window of 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The work involves being on your feet for the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to use a scale and caliper.
• Ability to clearly read and write in English and perform basic math.
• Ability to work a 10-hour shift on your feet without issue.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree preferred.
• Previous food production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Track and ensure product quality and consistency by performing and recording product weights and measurements.
• Manage and organize space and position product racks to support easy and efficient transportation.
• Notify Management or Quality Assurance of product abnormalities that could affect product quality.
