About The Position
This role involves monitoring and managing the cooling processes to ensure that all products are stored at optimal temperatures, thereby preventing spoilage and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The successful candidate will work closely with other team members to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and that any issues are addressed promptly. Additionally, this position requires adherence to safety protocols to create a safe working environment for all employees. Ultimately, the Cooler 2nd Shift role plays a critical part in the supply chain, ensuring that high-quality products reach consumers efficiently and safely.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina is important, as the role involves manual labor and the ability to lift heavy items.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices.
- Certification in forklift operation or other relevant machinery.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the temperature of coolers to ensure product safety and quality.
- Perform regular inspections of cooling equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of products into and out of the cooler.
- Document temperature readings and other relevant data as required for compliance and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
