About The Position

The Cooler Loadout/General Labor position is an hourly role responsible for the preparation and loading of trucks with products, ensuring all items are handled with care and accuracy. This role is essential for the efficient operation of the facility and contributes significantly to the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Able to work well with others.
Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Able to work in a safe and efficient manner.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
Coachable and willing to learn.
Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and manually stack and move cases that are 6 to 8 cases high.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
Familiarity with safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and reduce the risk of accidents.

Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload coolers and trucks with products, ensuring proper handling and organization.
Utilize RF Scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order picking.
Pull and stack orders.
Palletize products for trailers and stock.
Adapt to various situations and adjust to shifting priorities.
Adhere to OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Follow all required work-safe practices, including wearing all required PPE.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and mechanical knowledge.
Handle materials with care, ensuring that heavy lifting is performed safely and in accordance with company policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist in inventory management by tracking product levels and reporting discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment and delivery of products in optimal condition.
Perform other duties as assigned.
