About The Position

The Cooler Lift Operator is responsible for using walk-behind electric pallet jacks in various plant and warehouse areas, including coolers/freezers, production floors, shipping, and receiving. This role involves loading and unloading trailers and transporting pallets of product.

Requirements

• Moderate walking.
• Ability to climb in and out of sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to read and write English for certification and safety training.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform reaching, bending, twisting, and squatting motions.
• Must pass forklift operating and safety training.
• Must be certified by the company as a forklift operator.

Responsibilities

• Operate walk-behind electric pallet jacks in coolers/freezers, production floors, shipping, and receiving areas.
• Transport pallets of product to and from production lines.
• Load and unload trailers.
