About The Position

This role is responsible for pulling items from stock for customer orders with few mistakes. The worker will load and unload product by hand and/or pallet jack, and use a forklift to move product as needed. The position requires the ability to work independently and with others, perform basic math functions, and accurately complete written daily reports. The job involves working in extreme temperatures (hot and cold), wet and humid environments for extended periods. Maintaining a safe and clean work area is essential.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 60 pounds
Must be able to accurately perform basic math functions
Work independently and with others
Must be able to work in both very hot (more than 100 degrees) and very cold (less than 20 degrees below zero) and in a very wet and humid environment for extended periods of time.
Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
Must be able to perform basic mathematics
Must be able to fill out written daily reports

May be required to load and move stacks of milk weighing approximately 240 pounds or ice cream racks weighing 1,000 pounds for the duration of the shift in the staging and loading of trailers.
May be required to stack and unstack items weighing up to 50 pounds from a height of approximately seven feet to the ground and back continually for the duration of the shift.
