Cooks Helper- MHS 6 hours
About The Position
Assists in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals to customers at Moorhead High School. This 6-hour position includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break with shift hours from 7:45 am to 2:15 pm. Responsibilities include handling the point of sale operation for breakfast and lunch, assisting with the cleaning and maintenance of the food service facility and equipment, and communicating effectively with the Head Cook, FNS Staff, Students, and District Staff. The role involves preparing food for the school lunch program according to the menu, meal count, and food production record, serving students and staff from the cafeteria counter, and assisting in the major cleaning of kitchen areas, storeroom, and equipment at regularly scheduled intervals as designated by the supervisor. The position also requires operating a computer at the point of sale.
